    1. But you know what I’m going to say about websites like Gretchen Rubin though, don’t you lol – that they are cold reading everybody, with thousands of posts telling people what they want to hear, vaguely disguising their true aim of sucking in as many people as possible to feed with inspirational advertising.

      1. I disagree. Her passion is researching happiness and habits, and behaviour patterns. She’s written several best selling in those topics. I think what she had to say, almost without exception, is spot on.

  1. Resolutions are an interesting phenomenon in our society, but I can see how compartmentalizing when to do things can be an effective measure to get going. I may have tried it once or twice in the past, without success. I too take things day by day, always striving for health and happiness, though what defines those things may change over time : ) At the end of a year, I can see how my day to day has influenced my life overall. Like starting my blog for instance, and connecting with people like you! Life is continuous and overlapping!

  2. I don’t really do resolutions, but I do set goals or intentions. I’m learning to leave room for those to change though. I have a tendency to be hard on myself if I don’t perfectly execute the original said plan, even though I made great strides forward. It’s that Virgo perfectionist thing. lol.
